Grilled Salad

Grilled Romaine Salad with Buttermilk Chive Dressing

I have only had a grilled salad once when I was on vacation with my family. It took a little convincing from the waiter to give it a try, but it was fabulous. I am so excited to have found this recipe on Southern Living's website.

It may be hard to convince your husband to throw some lettuce on the grill, but it is worth it!

May Flowers

Real Simple has some great ideas for flower centerpieces this spring. I love the way they use different containers they use to hold the flowers instead of just plain vases!

Pizza Potatoes

I have never met someone that loves pizza as much as my husband. I always have my eye out for "pizza like" recipes. I found this in Crock Pot Cooking, it was published in 1975.

This recipe is perfect for kids and pizza loving husbands alike!

Pizza Potatoes
6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
Olive Oil
1/2 lb grated mozzarella cheese
2 oz sliced pepperoni
1 tspn salt
1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce

In skillet, saute potato and onion slices in oil until onion appears transparent; stir constantly to prevent browning. Drain well. combine potatoes and onion with cheese, pepperoni and salt in crock-pot. Pour Pizza sauce over top. Cover and cook on low for 5-10 hours.
